One Academic Year (8 months)
The genocide faced by Palestinians in Gaza has caused widespread destruction of infrastructure and educational institutions, depriving thousands of students from continuing their studies normally. The project aims to provide five safe study spaces in five different areas of Gaza for higher education students, equipped with electricity, internet, and all necessary tools. These spaces will benefit 1,000 students enrolled in university initiatives under the Ministry of Higher Education's emergency plan, allowing them to continue their studies online and contributing to their graduation. This effort will help replenish Gaza with skilled individuals capable of contributing to its development amidst the loss of many talents due to the ongoing genocide. This project follows the announcement by the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education of the first phase of an emergency plan for higher education students whose studies have been interrupted due to the current situation in Gaza. This plan includes offering several courses online over three semesters, allowing students to register for up to nine credit hours. Universities in Gaza, the West Bank, and some other countries have launched initiatives to enable students to continue their studies online as visiting students, creating an urgent need for suitable environments where students with tablets can continue their education.

Secondly: General Background of the Project
The ongoing genocide in Gaza has decimated educational institutions and
infrastructure, preventing thousands of students from continuing their studies.
Recently, the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education announced an emergency
plan that allows higher education students to continue their studies online over three
semesters, registering for up to nine credit hours per semester.
However, students face significant challenges such as lack of internet, electricity,
and suitable study spaces.
The government media in Gaza has reported that Israeli forces have destroyed more
than 400 educational institutions, including universities, colleges, and schools,
affecting over 88,000 higher education students and jeopardizing their future.
As an organization dedicated to supporting Palestinian students worldwide, it is our
ethical duty to ensure that students in Gaza can access quality education, a
fundamental human right and a global sustainable development goal.
Therefore, the project will provide five safe study spaces equipped with electricity,
internet, and appropriate tools to help students continue their education electronically
or online, contributing to their graduation and aiding in Gaza’s recovery
